There is not a one of us who does not have regrets concerning our past! Which makes me so very thankful that we serve a God of restoration. He is a loving and forgiving God who will help us get past those mistakes and move on to the future He has for us.
He is ready to do that in our lives, but we have to get to the place we are willing to let go of those regrets and move ahead. None of us can "redo" our past but we can, through the help of our Lord, refuse to allow our past to ruin our future!
Joel 2:25 - 27
So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,
The crawling locust,
The consuming locust,
And the chewing locust,[a]
My great army which I sent among you.
You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied,
And praise the name of the LORD your God,
Who has dealt wondrously with you;
And My people shall never be put to shame.
Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel:
I am the LORD your God
And there is no other.
My people shall never be put to shame.
Father,
I am so thankful that you are a loving & forgiving God! I ask you to forgive me of my past mistakes. I ask you to help me to let go of them and move on to the future you have for me. I believe my best years are ahead!
