But a disciple of Christ is not just someone who has accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior. It is someone who is closely following Him, growing in Him, and modeling His way of living. It is not someone who is perfect. We can see in the Word that even Jesus' closest followers also made mistakes.

The last words Jesus spoke on earth was a command to "go forth and make disciples." As disciples we affect others with the gospel.

Also, when we look at the lives of Jesus and His followers, we can see that there are many benefits for being a close follower of Christ. Benefits that He wants us to enjoy. Benefits that will enrich our lives and help us to be what He desires us to be.

Father God,
I am so thankful for Your Word and Your direction. That gift is what causes us to receive what we have need of. It is called FAITH!

Faith is not something we DO, it is something we HAVE. We are not trying to get God to do something, we are simply believing in what He has already provided for us.He has even said that through faith, we can speak to mountains and they will be moved. You may have some "mountains " in your life that need to be moved today. Let me encourage you to build up your faith in God in that area. Get to the place that you are excersising faith in what He has promised. There is great victory on the other side, just keep believing and speaking God's word to the mountain.

Father I am thankful that you have given us the gift of faith. The word "inhabit" means "to live in." God loves when we are people of worship, when it is a lifestyle to us. Not because He is egotistic, but because that is what we were created for. We were created to worship Him. If we are not doing that then we are out of His will. When we worhip HIM, He is there! We NEED Him to be there in our situations. I like to think of it like this; "When the praises go up, the Glory comes down." Worship charges the very atmosphere with His presence. And where His presence is there is fullness of joy!Father, I want to worship you and thank you for all you have done for me right now. Help me to understand what worshipping you does in my life. Help me to live a life of worship unto you. In Matthew chapter 6 Jesus tells us several times….”Do not worry!”

Worry does no good for our situations and in fact opens the door to fear. Someone once said that worry was like a rocking chair. It keeps you busy but doesn’t get you anywhere.

You may think it is impossible for you NOT to worry, but God never tells us to do something that He doesn’t give us the ability to do. We CAN refuse to worry! We CAN decide to quit thinking and talking about how bad our situations are and begin to think and talk about what God says concerning those situations. THAT is what will bring God on the scene and bring us the victory we need!

I Peter 5:6-7 "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you."

Father, I am thankful that you have given me the ability to NOT worry! I refuse to dwell on and worry about the negative situations in my life. I decide instead to think on and speak what YOUR WORD says about them. I decide to put my trust in you! I know you care for me and will help me through each circumstance I must face.I believe You will bring me through to victory. He has a plan for our lives and "comfortable" is not part of it! Comfortable is mediocrity and not really doing anything for His kingdom. Comfortable is being stuck, and we all know that we are not moving forward if we are stuck!
What we do for God is the most important thing in our life! All the other things that we spend time on will come to naught one day. EVERYBODY is so busy! But, the thing is that our relationship with HIM should be our #1 priority.

When we continue to put God lower and lower in our priorities, it begins to affect us quickly. We can become spiritually stagnate.

That is not pleasing to God and greatly hinders us from living the life that He desires for us.

There is a real danger in becoming too contented. We should always realize there is another level for us in our relationship with God. There is always more to learn, always more to do, and always more to change about ourselves.

He can only do in us what we allow Him to. If we want His will fulfilled in our lives, we must continue to move forward and allow God to work in us and through us.

Father I ask your forgiveness for times that I have not put You in the proper place in my life. I thank you that you are a forgiving God and it is never too late to change with you.
I ask you to help me to continue to grow and mature spiritually so that I can be all You want me to be, and have all You want me to have.

Look what's coming up....

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 259px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3AZfcNDjZm4/TVrwOgK9BPI/AAAAAAAAASU/FZZ117MHguU/s400/faithchicksconf2011front.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5574031620769121522" />

Wednesday Weapon -Pastor Cheryl

I am so thankful that according to Romans 8:14, because I am a child of God, I can be led by the Spirit of God. I have too many stressful things going on in my life!" We can have it because joy is not based on our circumstances. It is based on us knowing and believing what God's Word says, regardless of our circumstances.

Joy is different from happiness. Happiness can come and go at the blink of an eye, but according to James 1:2-3 we can have joy even when troubles have come our way. " My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." So don't let lose of your joy .....because, "The joy of the Lord is your strength!" Neh. 8:10

Father, I thank you for the gift of Joy! I thank you that you are a constant source of strength, peace, and JOY, no matter what is going on around me.I am thankful that according to Psalm 16:11 "in YOUR Presence their is fullness of joy." So even as I am praying right now I am being infused with YOUR joy! thought it was really worth thinking about:

I believe - That just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don' t love each other. And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do.

I believe - That we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.

I believe - That no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

I believe - That true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love.
I believe - That you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.

I believe - That you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.

I believe - That you can keep going long after you think you can't.

I believe - That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.

I believe - That heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.
I believe - That money is a lousy way of keeping score.

I believe - That it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I believe - That no matter how bad your heart is broken, the world doesn't stop for your grief.

I believe - That our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.

I believe - Two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

Stress Management

A lecturer, when explaining stress management to an audience, raised a glass of water and asked, “How heavy is this glass of water.?”
Answers were called out ranging from 20G to 500g.

The lecturer replied, “The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends oh how long you try to hold it. If I hold it for a minute, that's not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my right arm. If I hold it for a day, you'll have to call an ambulance. In each case, it's the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes.”

He continued, “And that's the way it is with stress management. If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, as the burden becomes increasingly heavy, we won't be able to carry on.”

“As with the glass of water, you have to put it down for a while and rest before holding it again. type='text'>Educators

According to a news report, a certain private school in Washington was
recently faced with a unique problem. A number of 12-year-old girls were
beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom.

That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick they would press
their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints. Every night the
maintenance man would remove them and the next day the girls would put them
back.

Finally, the principal decided that something had to be done. She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night (you can just imagine the yawns from the little princesses).

To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, she
asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required. He took
out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it.

Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror.

There are teachers.... and then there are educators.

Faith Chicks Luncheon

Hey Chicks!
Everyone has been asking & I just wanted to let you know that our next Faith Chicks Luncheon will be on Tuesday Feb. 23rd at noon! By the words of our mouth we have the ability to either tear down or to build up a person.
Who do you remember and appreciate most in life? Isn't it the ones who build you up and encourage you?

Everyone needs encouragement! Everyone needs to be commended for what they do. Many families are so used to condemning and speaking rudely to one another that it has become a habit in their life. When there is constant criticism in a home it can have very devastating effects on the individuals involved. It will rob the home of peace and joy and fill it with hatred and rebellion.

Many times we find ourselves being much kinder and speaking nicer to other people than we do to the ones we supposedly love the most. Come on! We have all found ourselves doing that! It certainly should not be the case.

Let's keep a watch on this. Let's make a genuine effort to encourage and uplift our family members. It may take a little time, and they may not immediately be receptive if it is a big change for you, but keep at it and I believe that we will see more love and unity in our homes. It might even help someone who is depressed to find recovery! That's what the Word said.

Change

I love the first of a new year! It is such a great time for us to evaluate where we are in different areas of our life. Most everyone begins to think about how they would like things to be different, and some even make new year resolutions. Some decide they want to be more disciplined in the area of diet and exercise, some decide they want to be more faithful to the things of God, some want their family life to be better. Many times we look back and see that we did not accomplish what we wanted to do at the first of the previous year.

Whatever we may want to change in our life will not happen just because we want it to. Change takes a lot of work and dedication. Most of the time we want things to change without us personally making any changes.

Someone once said. “To continue doing the same thing and expect different results is insanity.”

This is a great time for us to take a look at ourselves individually and to ask the Lord to help us to know how we can change so that we can have the results we would love to see. We do not have the power to change anyone else, but we do have the power to change ourselves.

Are there some areas in your family that needs your attention? Maybe some misunderstandings that need to be cleared up? Maybe some forgiveness that needs to take place? We have the power to make those changes. Wouldn't it be wonderful to begin the new year with a clean slate so that our families can grow, and prosper, and be in good emotional health? The change has to start somewhere. Why not with us?

God is still on the job!!

“Friends, when life gets really difficult, don't jump to the conclusion that God isn't on the job. Instead, be glad that you are in the very thick of what Christ experienced. This is a spiritual refining process, with glory just around the corner.” I Peter 4:12 (MSG)
I love this scripture ! I just want to remind you today that even though you may have some battles going on in your life, or in your family, to remember that God is still God! Regardless of what things may look like in the natural, He is still “on the job.” It is not over until He says it is over.
Everyone has their problems. Some of us have had to go through things that we would never have thought we would go through. But none of it changes who God is!
Personally, my family has been through a lot this last year but God has been good to us and we are blessed! We are believing that we have grown spiritually through the difficulties and that “the glory is just around the corner.”
Let me encourage you, as we are right on the verge of a new year, to expect great things in 2010! Don't get stuck in the middle of your troubles. Press your way through with the help of our Lord and see Him work on your behalf.
Lloyd & I have something that we have been confessing often. Today I confess it for you also.
“The rest of our days are the best of our days!” I believe it! type='text'>"Twas the Night Before Jesus Came"

'Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house
Not a creature was praying, not one in the house.
Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care
In hopes that Jesus would not come there.

The children were dressing to crawl into bed,
Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head.
And Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap
Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap.

When out of the East there arose such a clatter,
I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash!

When what to my wondering eyes should appear
But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here.
With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray
I knew in a moment this must be The Day!

The light of His face made me cover my head
It was Jesus! returning just like He had said.
And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth
I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.

In the Book of Life which He held in His hand
Was written the name of every saved man.
He spoke not a word as He searched for my name;
When He said "It's not here" my head hung in shame.

The people whose names had been written with love
He gathered to take to His Father above.
With those who were ready He rose without a sound
While all the rest were left standing around.

I fell to my knees, but it was too late;
I had waited too long and this sealed my fate.
I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight;
Oh, if only I had been ready tonight.

In the words of this poem the meaning is clear;
The coming of Jesus is drawing near.
There's only one life and when comes the last call
We'll find that the Bible was true after all!
<img width='1' height='1' Five minutes is only five minutes
if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the
game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm.
This means something, and you should be on your toes.
Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

(4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission.. Don't Do It!

(5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a
non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh
means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting
her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing.
(Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous
statements a woman can make to a man. That's okay means she
wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you
will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks: When a woman is thanking you, do not
question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a
clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is
PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say
'you're welcome' .. that will bring on a 'whatever').

(8) Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying
YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!

(9) Don't worry about it, I got it:
Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that
a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing
it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?'
For the woman's response refer to # 3.

Lunchbreak

Be sure & sign up for our next Faith Chicks Lunchbreak on Tues. Too many people, especially women, base what their husbands should be like, by what a man on t.v or the movies is, or by what someone else's spouse seems to be like. I say, “seems to be like” because we really don't know what other peoples home life is really like. Through the years I have seen couples that appeared to have it all together and the next thing you know they are in divorce court.

We have to realize that movies & t.v. are not real life! Life is not always a fairy tale , romantic, adventure for sure. If we expect it to be, we will be sorely disappointed in life. In reality, bills need paying, the yard needs mowing, things break down, kids get sick, some of us get pot bellies, and life is not always fun and exciting!

Don't put the pressure on your spouse of trying to make them perfect. No one is perfect! Every one of us make mistakes. We sometimes get mad and say things we shouldn't, we all have times of selfishness and stinky attitudes!

So, let me encourage you to check yourself and see if you are expecting more out of your spouse than they have the ability to give. When we learn to except and love each other regardless of our shortcomings we may just find that life is beautiful after all!

Donkey Story

One day a donkey fell into a deep well. The donkey cried and cried, and the farmer who owned him frantically tried to figure out a way to get the donkey out of the deep hole. However the sides were just too unstable to lower someone down with a rope to tie around the donkey, and as the donkey was panicking and thrashing about, the farmer had the additional concern of one of his farm hands being injured and stuck down the hole too.

Finally, with a heavy heart, the farmer decided it was best to bury the donkey and put it out of its misery. So he and several of his farm hands started shoveling dirt into the well.

However, after a few minutes of shoveling, the farmer noticed something. The donkey was shaking off the dirt and stomping it into the ground below him. As it dawned on the farmer what was happening, he called the rest of his farm hands to help shovel, and shovel-full after shovel-full of dirt, the donkey shook off the dirt, & stomped it into the ground making the hole shallower by the minute. Soon the well became nearly filled with dirt and the donkey climbed out to the great relief of the farmer and his workers.

There is a great lesson to be learned form this story. Life hands us many situations that we are not expecting. Many times we feel as if it is over & the dirt of life is being shoveled on us to keep us buried in our situation.

BUT, we can do what the donkey did! He decided to shake it off and take another step. We must make the same decision at times. We may not be able to change the situation instantly, but we CAN be like the donkey, shake it off & take another step! So the next time you are in a bad situation & don't know what to do, I hope you will remember this story of the donkey & tell yourself, “just shake it off & take another step.”!!

The Mouse Trap

A mouse looked through the crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife open a package.

What food might this contain?' the mouse wondered - - -he was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap.

Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning: There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!'

The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said, 'Mr. Mouse, I can tell this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me. I cannot be bothered by it.'

The mouse turned to the pig and told him, 'There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!'

The pig sympathized, but said, 'I am so very sorry, Mr. Mouse, but there is nothing I can do about it but pray. Be assured you are in my prayers.'

The mouse turned to the cow and said, 'There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!'

The cow said, 'Wow, Mr. Mouse. I'm sorry for you, but it's no skin off my nose.'

So, the mouse returned to the house, head down and dejected, to face the farmer's mousetrap . . . alone.

That very night a sound was heard throughout the house -- like the sound of a mousetrap catching its prey.

The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught. In the darkness, she did not see it was a venomous snake whose tail the trap had caught. The snake bit the farmer's wife!

The farmer rushed her to the hospital, and she returned home with a fever. Everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup, so the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard for the soup's main ingredient.

But his wife's sickness continued, so friends and neighbors came to sit with her around the clock. To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig.

The farmer's wife did not get well; she died. So many people came for her funeral; the farmer had the cow slaughtered to provide enough meat for all of them.

The mouse looked upon it all from his crack in the wall with great sadness.

So, the next time you hear someone is facing a problem and think it doesn't concern you, remember , when one of us is threatened, we are all at risk.We are all involved in this journey called life. One of our main jobs as parents is to train our children up in a way that they desire to fulfill God's will for their life. Understanding that God has a plan for them will give a child a sense of purpose. Statistics from philosophers have told us that life's most important question is, “Why am I here?”

Children need to feel that they are important to God, to you & to other people in their life. I recently read an article by Larry Fowler and this is what he says a sense of destiny will do for our children:

*A sense of destiny gives direction in the major decisions of life. The young person who believes God is calling him or her to serve Him will consider that when deciding what college to attend, who to marry, and what to do for a career.

*A sense of destiny gives meaning to life’s opportunities. If I believe God might use me to influence children as an elementary school teacher, I’ll seek opportunities that contribute to that direction.

*A sense of destiny provides strength in hard times. If I understand that God may need to knock off some rough corners in order to best use me, difficult times can be understood and endured.

As parents, we can help them to have a sense of destiny by teaching them that God has a plan for them individually, by teaching them to desire God's will for their life, and by encouraging them that they CAN do what God has called them to do.

Burned Biscuits
A good friend sent this story to me & I thought it had such a great lesson for us all:

When I was a little boy, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his biscuit, smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly
butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite!

When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I'll never forget what he said: "Baby, I love burned biscuits."

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned.. He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides - a little burnt biscuit never hurt anyone!"

You know, life is full of imperfect things....and imperfect people. I'm not the best housekeeper or cook. What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each other's faults - and choosing to celebrate each other's differences - is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.

And that's my prayer for you today. That you will learn to take the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of your life and lay them at the feet of God. Because in the end, He's the only One who will be able to give you a relationship where a burnt biscuit isn't a deal-breaker!

Faith Chicks Lunchbreak

We were sooo excited to have 76 ladies registered for our first Faith Chicks Lunchbreak!

The menu was chicken salad & pimiento cheese crousants, green salad, baked potato soup, & dessert.

Pastor Cheryl brought a short devotion about "Making Room for God" from II Kings:4. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

(4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission.. Don't Do It!

(5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks: When a woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' .. that will bring on a 'whatever').

(8) Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!

(9) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

Just wanted to...

encourage everyone to participate in the See You At The pole 21 day devotions ! Simply use the devotion for insight and as a guideline to study the Word. Afterwards, spend a few minutes in prayer, praise and listening to God.Studies show that if you repeat something for 21 days straight, it will become a habit. We want daily quiet time with God to become a habit in our life. We are believing God for awesome things to happen in the next 3 weeks and would love to have you join us!
If you would like to take the 21 Day Challenge, just head over to the U-TURN BLOG now!

Decisions, Decisions!!!

Everything in life begins with a decision! Our decisions are what determines our destiny. This is why it is very important for us to make the right ones. The main decision we need to make is to have God to be a part of our lives. God told Joshua, “Choose you this day whom you will serve.” We have that same choice to make everyday of our lives.

Will we allow God to be a part of our decisions? Will we make choices based on HIS Word rather than our own feelings and circumstances? Will we choose to seek Him even when things are not going our way?

If we choose to allow Him to be involved in our life, we can be assured that we are never alone! We can be assured that He will direct our steps and help us to make wise decisions in life.!We can be assured that no matter what others may do or say to hurt us that He is there for us! He will strengthen us and help us to be the spouses, parents, and Christians that we need to be.

I don't know about you but, I NEED God in my life everyday! Things happen to discourage me and hurt me but, I can know for sure that He has the answers for me to come out in victory! He is a good God and is wanting each of us to involve Him in our decisions.

Divine Protection

I love Psalm 91 in the Word of God. Especially, verse 11 that says,"For He shall give
His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways." I am so very thankful for that
word, as I am sure you are too. There is a lot of danger and evil happening today, but
praise the Lord, we can exercise faith in this scripture everyday as we and our loved
ones go out into the world.

Most people will state the fact that they have a "guardian angel." However years ago
I did an in depth study on angels and concluded that we don’t just have one angel
watching over us, but instead we have many angels watching over each one of us.
I hope that you remember this passage and excercise faith in it. It is an awesome
priviledge that we have been given, to be able to pray this over our loved ones each
day.

We may not be able to be with our children and grandchildren personally every day, but we do have someone who is watching over them and keeping them safe from harm.

Let me encourage you to read the whole chapter of Psalm 91. It will be a blessing to you!

Forgiveness ~Cheryl

Sometimes in life we are put into situations and circumstances not because of decisions or choices that we have made, but because of things that others have done to us.

Recently, in studying the story of Joseph being thrown into the pit by his brothers, I saw something about the story that I had never seen before. In Gen. 37:24, the scripture tells us about the act, then in the very next verse it says, they, (the brothers) sat down and ate a meal ! Can you imagine? After throwing their own brother in a pit, they go on about their lives, eating a meal and acting as if nothing is wrong!

It may be that way in your life. Someone you loved and trusted has hurt you greatly and now they just go on with their life as though nothing has happened.

As I continue to read about Joseph, I find that Joseph actually ended up having a very blessed life. In fact in Gen. 39:2 It says, "The Lord was with Joseph and he was a successful man." What happened? Well the truth is that it really didn’t matter what his brothers did after this horrific act upon Joseph. The only thing that mattered was what Joseph himself did.

I believe that Joseph made a choice to move on from the hurts placed upon him. Everything in his life was not perfect from that point , but he continued to trust God. I believe he even made the choice to forgive those who had wronged him. And because of that, he became a very blessed man.
I read once that "Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself." It may be time to get past the ways you have been hurt and move on to a blessed future. Forgiveness could be the beginning of that future!

"Faith Chicks" T-Shirts

Me, Amy & Stacy modeling!!!
I am so excited about our new Women's Ministry name & logo!!We have some exciting things planned for the future! I don't mean being scared of the boogy bear!LOL! I mean being afraid of what might happen to you, or your children, or your finances, or your health, or anything else. To fear will only bring a negative consequence!

Look at this: "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Isa. 41: 10

Instead of allowing ourselves to get into fear in the midst of our situations, we need to remember, God is still God! He is still with us! We don't have to be afraid because no matter what we may face, He will strengthen us and uphold us! PTL! He is with me to help me fight my battles!!!
